MagicINFO accepts a range of media formats for content upload. The tables below list the supported formats by category, along with recommended specifications for reliable playback.

- Resolution: 1920 x 1080 pixels (landscape or portrait)
- Maximum 72 DPI

Re-encoding video with a transcoding tool such as HandBrake before upload improves compatibility and playback performance, particularly for large source files.
Streaming content
MagicINFO can play streams delivered over the following protocols:
- MMS
- RTP
- RTSP
- HTTP
- HLS

Streaming content is supported only on MagicINFO Player S3 and later.
