External player requirements

No external PC or media player is required for most installations. Samsung Smart Signage displays ship with a built-in player designed to run MagicINFO directly — on current models, this internal player runs on the Tizen platform.

Some display models do not include an internal player. To use MagicINFO Premium with those models, add a Set Back Box (SBB) — an external player unit that mounts on the rear of the display. Contact your local hardware distributor to confirm which SBB model fits your display.
