Statistics and Reports in MagicINFO Server

The Statistics menu reports on how the devices and content registered in MagicINFO Server are performing: device connection status and history, content registration and play frequency, proof-of-play records, and event trigger activity. Administrators and operators use these views to verify that content is actually playing and to export evidence and summaries as Excel or PDF files.

MagicINFO Server administrators (general administrator and organization administrators) can assign a role to each user, and available functions depend on that role. For details on user roles, see Managing Users. The topics in this section assume general administrator privileges.

What's in this section​

  • Summary Statistics for Devices and Content — Pie charts of device connection status, approved versus unapproved devices and registered content by type, from Statistics > Summary in MagicINFO.
  • Device statistics — Review device connection status, connection history and approval records over time, and export the statistics to Excel or PDF for reporting.
  • Proof of Play reports — Content statistics and proof of play: content types, play frequency, detailed play reports, storage use and the history of playback records received.
  • Event Trigger Statistics and Detail Reports — Review detailed statistics on event triggers in MagicINFO Server: pick an organization and year in Statistics > Event Trigger, then open a detail report.
