Proof of Play reports

View the content type, play frequency, detailed reports, storage space usage, and proof of play file history added to MagicINFO Server. Click icon(Statistics) > Content on the main menu bar. You can download the statistics you retrieved into your computer as an Excel file. Click Export.

Viewing statistics on the content type​

To view the statistics for each content type registered in MagicINFO Server, click Content Type. The statistics can be viewed after selecting the period or date in Period. When you select Customize, the date input window is activated. Select a desired date. Set the period and then click Search.

  • Registered content by type The numbers of registered content files can be viewed in a chart after classified into different types.
  • Registered content by date View the numbers of content types registered on each date and their lists.

Viewing the statistics of play frequencies​

To view the play frequency statistics for each content file, click Play Frequency. Select values for period, content, and device group and then click Search.

  • Period The statistics can be viewed after selecting a period. When you select Customize, the date input window is activated. Select a desired date.
  • Select Content Select content to view the play frequency. When you click Select All in the content selection window, all content files are selected.
  • Device Group View connection logs by the device group. Click Select and then select a desired device group. When you click Select All in the device selection window, all devices are selected. Statistics on playback frequency of content can be viewed after the content is played on a device for one or more days.

The result shows how many times, and for how long, each content item played on the selected device group during the period.

Viewing the detailed report​

To view the detailed statistics for content play frequencies, click Detailed Reports. When you set the following items sequentially, the statistical results automatically appear in the list. When you click any item for month or device in the list, its detailed report appears.

  • Organization Select an organization group.
  • Year The result can be viewed on the year basis.
  • Type Select any of General, VWL (VideoWall Layout), and Media.

Viewing the storage usage​

To view the content upload status for each organization, click Storage Space Usage. Select an organization in Organization to view its information. Multiple items can be selected.

  • The general administrator can view content usage of all organizations
  • The organization administrator is only authorized content usage of its own organization.

The chart compares total disk use on the server (grey bar) with the space used by MagicINFO content (blue bar). The list below it shows the organization, user group, user ID, user name and storage used for each user. Click Export to save it as an Excel or PDF file.

Viewing the play records reception history​

To view the history for content play records for each device, click Proof of Play File History. Set the period in months in Period. It can search 6 months of data and the data before that period cannot be retrievable.

The view counts the play records received per day and splits devices into a received and a not-received table, each with MAC address, device name and device group. Click Export to save it as an Excel or PDF file.
