Schedules: Content, Message and Event

The Schedule menu controls what plays on your devices and when. It covers content schedules (publishing content and playlists by date, channel, and frame), message schedules (overlaying text messages on playing content), and event schedules (reacting to defined event conditions). This section is for administrators and content managers who plan playback across a large number of devices and want to keep it organized and efficient.

What's in this section

  • Create a Content Schedule: All Options — Full reference for content schedules: initial settings by device type, dates, channels and frames, adding content or playlists, and saving.
  • Manage the Content Schedule List — Keep content schedules tidy: browse them by group, create groups for each organization, find them with custom search and use the Recycle Bin.
  • Create a Message Schedule (Text Overlay) — Show a text message on top of playing content: create a message schedule, set the text, style and timing, then save it and publish it to devices.
  • Manage the Message Schedule List — Keep message schedules in order: browse them by group, set up groups for each organization, search with custom filters and recover deleted messages.
  • Create an Event Schedule — Create an event first, then an event schedule that plays content when the event condition is met, set its options and save it for your devices.
  • View, Edit and Delete Events — Open an event from Event Manager to see its conditions, preview it, change its settings or delete it once you no longer need it.
  • Manage the Event Schedule List — Organise event schedules: view them by group, create groups for each organization, search with filters and restore deleted ones from the Recycle Bin.
  • Create a VideoWall Schedule — Schedule content for device groups that have a VideoWall layout: set the basic options, add VideoWall content and publish it to the whole wall.
  • Create an Advertisement Schedule — Map several ad playlists to devices so each plays on a set date and time slot. Create the ad playlist first, then build and publish the ad schedule.
  • Create a Sync Play Schedule — Assign a synced playlist to tag-matched devices with a Sync Play schedule, so content switches on every screen in the group at the same moment.
