Step 2: Upload Content from Your Computer

Register the content to play from the registered device. Click icon(Content) on the main menu bar.

  1. Click Create > Upload Content.
  2. The Upload Content window appears.
  3. Drag any content file into the Upload Content window or click Add Content and then select the desired content file(s).
  4. Click Upload Now. Adding a content file is complete. You can use the following options in the Upload Content window.
  • Add Content Add content.
  • Upload Now Upload the added content.
  • Category Select the category to add content to.
  • Delete Delete content. Various content items other than those stored in the computer can be registered.
In practice
  • Uploading the same file again as a new content item does not always mean the screens download it again: several display models we tested recognised a file they already held and skipped the download.
  • Through the REST API, the file-upload call rejects LFD and URL items with error 500013. See REST API error codes.
