Device Notifications: Find Devices Needing Attention

View the storage capacity, schedule or content distribution and other statuses of devices connected to MagicINFO Server for efficient maintenance of multiple devices. Click icon(Device) > Notifications on the main menu bar.

Checking devices with no distributed content​

Check devices that have not received distributed content. Click Notifications > Content Download Error.

  • Exporting Device List To export a list of devices that have notifications occurred as an Excel or PDF file, select devices and click Export.
  • Distributing content To deploy content to idle devices, select the device and click Deploy. This works only for devices that are switched on.

Checking devices with no distributed schedule​

Check devices to which schedules have not been published. Click Notifications > Schedule Not Published.

  • Exporting Device List To export a list of devices that have notifications occurred as an Excel or PDF file, select devices and click Export.
  • Distributing Schedules To distribute a schedule to devices a schedule has not been distributed to, select a device and click Deploy.

Viewing schedules near expiration​

To view schedules close to expiration, click Notifications > Schedules to Expire > Schedule. To view based on the devices whose schedules are close to expiration, click Notifications > Schedules to Expire > Device.

  • Modifying a schedule or device near expiration To edit a schedule or device that is near expiration, select a desired item and then click Edit.
  • Exporting schedules or devices near expiration To export a list of schedules or devices near expiration as an Excel or PDF file, select the items and then click Export.

Viewing the playlists near expiration​

To view the playlists near expiration, click Notifications > Playlists to Expire.

  • Modifying a playlist near expiration To modify details for a playlist that is near expiration, select a desired device and then click Edit.
  • Exporting a playlist near expiration To export a playlist near expiration as an Excel or PDF file, select a desired device and then click Export.

Checking devices with no specified time zone​

Check devices where time zones are not set. Click Notifications > Time Zone Not Set.

  • Exporting Device List To export a list of devices that have notifications occurred as an Excel or PDF file, select devices and click Export.
  • Setting Device Time Zone You can set universal time zone and daylight saving settings for devices. Select the desired device checkbox and click Setup.
  • Restarting Devices You can restart devices after updating the time zone. Select the desired device checkbox and click Restart.

Checking devices with insufficient space​

Check devices that have insufficient space. Click Notifications > Insufficient Capacity.

  • Exporting Device List To export a list of devices that have notifications occurred as an Excel or PDF file, select devices and click Export.
